The PROXL Gen20 Non-Toxic Waterbased Rust Remover (1L)

is a powerful, non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive solution designed for the fast and effective restoration of rusted metal without the need for scrubbing or sanding.

Key Features and Benefits

Easy Rust Removal: Designed to remove rust quickly and easily by simply submerging the rusty parts in the solution.

Safe Formula: It is non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive, making it safe for handling and use on all types of metal.

No Damage to Unrusted Steel: The formula will not cause damage to unrusted steel, or materials such as paint (if firmly bonded), plastic, rubber, or vinyl.

Reusable and Eco-Friendly: The solution is reusable for multiple treatments and its water-soluble, biodegradable ingredients add to its eco-friendly credentials.

No Fumes or Odours: It produces no fumes or unpleasant odours during use.

Versatile Application: Ideal for use in auto body work and for eradicating deep-seated rust from a range of mild steel and iron surfaces.

Usage Instructions

Preparation: Remove large flakes of paint and rust or any oil and grime from the metal surface using a firm wire brush, then rinse with water.

Application:

For small items, submerge the rusty parts completely in the rust remover solution.

For larger parts that cannot be submerged, lay paper towels or rags soaked in the solution over the rusty area. Keep the soaked rags in direct contact with the rust and repeat where necessary.

Dwell Time: Allow the item to soak for between 1 hour and 24 hours, depending on the severity of the rust.

Speeding up the Process:

Occasionally shake the submerged parts.

Heating the solution to 40°C can further speed up the reaction.

Finishing: Once the rust is removed, rinse the parts well with fresh water. The treated items can then be primed to prevent rust from returning.
