Euro Clear is a 3-1 Premium 2K Urethane Clear coat is a high solid clear coat formulated to provide easy application, easy polishing, and long pot life.

2K Euro Clear offers an excellent high gloss finish, great flow and anti-sagging properties.

2K Euro Clear is suitable for all top-quality overall, spot and panel finishes. This clear coat resists shrinkage and die back, and retains its glossy appearance whether baked or air-dried and with advanced UV filters and absorbers, your finishes keep their beauty longer.

    2K Euro Show Clear Kits:

    5 Litres of 2K Euro Clear Kit includes: 

    • 5 Litres of Euro Clear.
    • 1 x Litre + 700ml Activator

    1 Litre of 2K Euro Clear Kit includes:

    • 1 x Litre Clear-coat.
    • 1 x 350ml Activator.

    Substrates & Surface Preparation:

    Use over Custom Paints Basecoats and sanded OEM finishes in good condition.

    EXISTING FINISH: Sand surface with P600-P800 wet or P500-P600 dry, and then clean with Cleaner/Degreaser. Mask object/area to eliminate unwanted overspray. Use a tack cloth to remove any surface contaminates that may have settled on the basecoat.

    Application:

    Apply 2-3 coats or 3-4 coats If a heavy flat and polishing is to be a expected. Ensure you leave longer flash times when applying more then 3 coats. 

    The mixing ratio:

    • 3 parts Clear-coat
    • 1 part Activator (Medium or Slow Activators)
    • Optional : 5 - 10% Thinner

    POT LIFE AT 20°C (68°F):  60 -120 minutes

      FLASH / DRYING TIMES:

      AIR DRY - 20'C / 68'F

      FORCE DRY - 60'C /140'F

      INFRARED DRY

      Flash between coats10-15 minutes. 2-3 coats

      Dry to tape: Dry to tape

      Dry to polish: 6 Hours

      (depending on temperature)

      Flash time: 5-10 minutes.

      Cycle Time: 40 minutes @ 140ºF/60ºC metal temperature.

      Dry to tape: Dry to tape

      Dry to polish: 25 minutes

      Refer to the infrared manufacturer’s guide for setup recommendations.

       Dry and cure times are dependent on air movement, temperature and film builds.

      EQUIPMENT CLEANING:

      Clean equipment immediately after use according to local regulations.

       

      Protection:

      Use suitable respiratory protection (we recommend the use of a fresh air supply respirator).
